Regional HR Business Partner | Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are currently supporting an international engineering & consulting organization headquartered in Northern Europe in the search for an experienced HR Business Partner based in Abu Dhabi.
In this regional role, you will partner closely with business leaders across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Azerbaijan, driving strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strong employee engagement across multiple markets.
The successful candidate will support a regional workforce of approximately 60–70 employees while collaborating with global stakeholders across a highly international organization operating across five continents.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR partnering with regional leadership teams across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Azerbaijan
- Act as the primary HR contact for a regional employee population of approximately 60–70 employees
- Talent management, workforce planning & succession planning
- Employee relations, employee engagement & labor law compliance across multiple countries
- Performance management, leadership support & organizational development
- HR process optimization and HR systems implementation
- Support regional growth, transformation and change management initiatives
- Collaborate with global HR teams and business leaders across an international matrix organization
Your Profile
- Approximately 10 years of progressive HR experience, including roles such as Talent Acquisition Specialist/Manager, HR Generalist and HR Business Partner
- Several years of HR Business Partner experience within an international environment
- Proven experience supporting employee populations in small to mid-sized organizations or business units (approximately 60–70 employees)
- Strong exposure to GCC / Middle East HR operations with focus on UAE
- Mandatory experience within Engineering, Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial Services, Infrastructure or related technical industries
- Experience working within globally operating organizations and international matrix structures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach
- Ability to operate independently while partnering effectively with regional and global leadership teams
- Fluent English skills, written as well as spoken, are mandatory
