Regional Head IT Business Engagement Manager North America
Role Overview
Reporting to the Global Director of Business Engagement, the Regional Business Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting and executing gategroup’s IT business strategy, focused on the assigned Region.
This role is the key business contact representing IT by promoting IT services and capabilities, supporting, and delivering overall IT services that meet the needs of the business.
The position serves as the business relationship link between the country and functions and IT at the country level for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management.
The Regional Business Engagement Managers are partnering with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria following the internal governance model.
They facilitate the local investment intake process and the high-level planning and execution of business initiatives using technology.
This role serves as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of global IT standards.

Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple priorities based on changing business needs is essential
- Must possess strong business acumen
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Good knowledge of the customer organization
- Commercial awareness and ability to represent business issues effectively to the IT community
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field preferred.
- Work Experience:
- 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience
- 10 years of leadership experience
- 10 years developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field preferred.
