The Regional Demand Planner – GCC is responsible for delivering accurate, consensus-driven demand forecasts across GCC markets in collaboration with Nabati Commercial Leaders, distributors, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
The role leads the demand planning stream of the S&OP process, ensuring demand plans are robust, market-aligned, and executable, using the company’s Pipeline Tool.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop rolling demand forecasts at SKU and market level across GCC countries.
- Own demand planning activities within the Pipeline Tool, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and timely updates.
- Incorporate distributor forecasts, promotions, seasonality, pricing actions, and product lifecycle changes into the demand plan.
Distributor Collaboration (S&OP Demand Review)
- Act as the primary interface between the company and distributors for demand planning activities.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings with distributors to validate assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure distributor inputs are aligned with commercial plans and governance standards.
S&OP / IBP Alignment
- Lead the demand planning pillar of the monthly S&OP cycle for the GCC region.
- Translate distributor and market inputs into a consolidated regional demand plan.
- Provide scenario analysis to support supply feasibility, inventory strategy, and management decision-making.
Inventory & Service Level Support
- Collaborate with supply planning and logistics teams to align demand plans with supply constraints.
- Proactively highlights risks related to stock shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
- Support service level targets while optimizing inventory investment across the region.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report key KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, and inventory health.
- Prepare clear demand insights and recommendations for regional management reviews.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of demand planning or forecasting experience within FMCG.
- Proven experience working with distributors and regional S&OP processes.
- Experience managing demand planning across multiple GCC markets is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience using demand planning tools; hands-on capability with a Pipeline Tool is preferred.
- Solid understanding of S&OP and distributor-led business models.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional and external partners without direct authority.
