Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Refrigeration Technician role based in Dubai.
The Refrigeration Technician will install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential customers, following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components, and completing scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
The role involves responding to service calls, inspecting equipment, replacing parts, and documenting all work performed in service reports.
The technician will also collaborate with supervisors and team members to plan jobs, ensure proper use of tools and materials, and maintain a safe, orderly work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems, including installation, servicing, and component replacement.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, such as scheduled inspections, cleaning, and performance checks on refrigeration and HVAC units.
- Foundational knowledge of Electricity related to HVAC and refrigeration systems, including safe handling, wiring, and use of electrical testing tools.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Refrigeration or HVAC Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and work orders, and to complete clear service documentation.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, with the physical ability to work on-site, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions.
