Referral Coordinator
Role Overview
The Referral Coordinator manages the referral intake process from receipt through scheduling, ensuring patients are triaged, matched with the appropriate provider, and scheduled promptly.
This role serves as a key point of contact for incoming referrals and patient outreach, working closely with the intake team to deliver a smooth experience from first contact through appointment scheduling.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychology, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in a medical or behavioral health administrative role
- Clinical literacy — familiarity with mental health service types and terminology
- Strong phone communication and patient-facing skills
- HIPAA knowledge and compliance awareness
- Experience with EHR Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or medical scheduler
- Familiarity with insurance platforms, Dialpad
- Experience in a multi-department or multi-location practice
- Bilingual — a plus
- This is a remote role, you must be a SC, TX, IL, or CO state resident to apply.
