Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jeddah for a Reefer Technician.
The Reefer Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing reefer containers.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting Pre-Trip Inspections, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with warranty obligations, and collaborating with team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing reefer container refrigeration and cooling systems
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance
- Knowledge of conducting Pre-Trip Inspections and adhering to safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work with tools and equipment used in reefer repairs, and manage spare parts effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management and ability to work efficiently in an on-site team environment
- Experience with reefer systems from major manufacturers is a plus
- Vocational training or a technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration engineering is highly desirable
