Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Recruitment Officer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Recruitment Officer will manage the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating selection decisions with hiring managers.
The role involves developing and updating job descriptions, preparing job postings, and leveraging multiple channels such as job boards, social media, and referrals to attract suitable talent.
The Recruitment Officer will maintain candidate records, ensure a positive candidate experience, and support onboarding activities to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
The role also includes tracking recruitment metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations, and collaborating with management to forecast and plan staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in job description development, including defining role requirements and responsibilities clearly and accurately.
- Hands-on experience in recruiting and hiring, including sourcing, shortlisting, and managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Demonstrated interviewing skills, using structured and competency-based techniques to assess candidates fairly and consistently.
- Experience in recruitment or HR within the automotive, car rental, or service industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR databases, and online recruitment platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and employment regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are beneficial.
