Recruitment Manager

Role description

Key responsibilities

• Develop recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning and business objectives; identify staffing needs with department leaders and hiring managers.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding coordination.
• Lead, supervise, and support the recruitment team to meet hiring targets and maintain recruitment standards.
• Create and maintain job descriptions, advertisements, interview guidelines, and candidate assessment criteria.
• Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, agencies, referrals, and other channels; maintain pipelines for current and future vacancies.
• Oversee candidate screening, interview scheduling, assessment processes, and selection recommendations.
• Monitor time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate conversion, and recruitment effectiveness.
• Build relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, industry networks, and other talent sources.
• Ensure legal, policy, and equal-opportunity compliance; support candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
• Negotiate offers and coordinate candidate placement and onboarding with relevant departments.
• Implement recruitment technologies, ATS, and process improvements; prepare reports, workforce analysis, and hiring forecasts.
• Strengthen employer branding and address recruitment challenges to improve hiring quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, Senior Recruiter, or similar HR recruitment professional.
• Strong understanding of recruitment strategy, sourcing methods, and end-to-end hiring.
• Experience leading recruitment teams and handling multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate with hiring managers, department heads, and senior management.
• Experience with job portals, professional networking platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
• Understanding of workforce planning, recruitment metrics, and talent market trends.
• Knowledge of employment laws, hiring regulations, and fair recruitment practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including using recruitment data to improve outcomes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines; professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment in handling candidate information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Employer branding, recruitment marketing, or talent pipeline experience is an advantage; a related bachelor's degree and HR or recruitment certifications are preferred or advantageous; experience recruiting across departments, senior roles, or specialist roles is an advantage.
