Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise recreation areas and coordinate recreational, educational, creative, sporting, and equestrian activities.
• Maintain child safety, safeguarding procedures, records, authorized pick-up checks, and professional communication with families.
• Supervise recreation and childcare team members; prepare schedules, plans, events, and seasonal programmes.
• Maintain safe, clean activity spaces and equipment, conduct safety checks, and report hazards, incidents, or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with related teams and support children’s parties, family events, school-holiday programmes, and member activities.
• Manage activity supplies, respond to incidents and complaints, protect confidential information, report participation and performance, and improve family services.

Experience and requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Recreation Supervisor or similar, including supervising children and coordinating age-appropriate activities.
• Strong knowledge of child safeguarding, health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures; fluency in English is required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and time-management skills; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
• First Aid and CPR certification are highly desirable; Arabic is highly desirable.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, family clubs, equestrian activities, or VIP environments is an advantage.
