Role Description
The Health Specialist will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting the school’s health-related initiatives for learners and staff.
Daily tasks include providing virtual health consultations within the scope of occupational health, advising on preventive care, and promoting healthy lifestyles in an educational setting.
The role involves developing and implementing health promotion programs, creating digital health education materials, and contributing to policies that support physical and mental well-being.
The Health Specialist will respond to health-related inquiries, collaborate with school leadership and teaching staff, and coordinate with external healthcare providers when necessary.
The position also includes maintaining accurate health documentation, monitoring relevant public health guidance, and recommending measures to ensure a safe, health-conscious learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction in a remote setting.
- Proven ability in Customer Service and learner or client support, preferably in an educational or healthcare context.
- Applied expertise in Occupational Health, including workplace or school health standards and preventive strategies.
- Relevant background in Medicine or health sciences, with the ability to interpret and explain health information accurately.
- Experience in Health Promotion, including designing and delivering health education or wellness programs.
- Recognized qualification in public health, nursing, medicine, occupational health, or a closely related field.
- Comfort with digital tools and remote consultation platforms; ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with educational or vocational school environments and basic understanding of German educational structures is an advantage.
