- Parkview Pet Center is Qatar’s first full-service veterinary clinic, serving the community since 2011.
- Located in Madinat Khalifa North, we provide:
- Veterinary consultations and surgery
- Professional grooming
- Dog and cat boarding
- International pet relocation
- After-hours emergency support
- We operate 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and are trusted by thousands of pet owners across Qatar.
- We are currently expanding our front desk team and looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who can thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.
The Role
As a Receptionist at Parkview, you are the first point of contact for our clients — whether by phone, WhatsApp, online booking, or walk-in visits.
This role requires someone who is organised, calm under pressure, professional, and genuinely comfortable around animals and people.
You will manage appointment flow, client communication, invoicing, bookings, and coordination with veterinarians, groomers, and boarding staff throughout the day.
This is a busy operational role, not a quiet desk position.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and pets professionally at the reception desk
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails
- Schedule appointments and manage booking changes
- Handle urgent calls and inform veterinarians of emergencies
- Register and check in patients accurately
- Verify vaccination records and update client information
- Process invoices, payments, and receipt reconciliation
- Coordinate grooming, boarding, and pet relocation bookings
- Maintain a clean and organised reception and waiting area
- Monitor and restock retail items and displays
- Communicate wait times and follow-up instructions clearly to clients
- Escalate animal welfare concerns to the veterinary team when necessary
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience in Qatar
- Veterinary clinic experience is preferred
- Medical clinic, hotel, salon, or other high-traffic service environments are also acceptable
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems/software
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Professional attitude and strong client communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa, freelance visa, or own sponsorship
- Genuine interest in animals and basic pet care knowledge
Strongly Preferred
- Veterinary clinic reception experience
- Experience handling emotional or difficult client situations
- Arabic language ability
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business and appointment coordination
& Benefits
- Salary: QAR 5,000 – 6,500 per month (based on experience)
- 6-month probation period with performance review
- 48-hour work week
- One rotating day off per week
- 30 days paid annual leave after one year
- End-of-service benefits as per Qatar Labour Law
- Full training on clinic systems and workflows
- Stable long-term opportunity within an established veterinary business
- Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month
