🎯 The Role
We are seeking an experienced Translation Manager to lead translation operations, manage multilingual content workflows, and ensure high-quality language services across business functions.
The successful candidate will oversee translation projects, manage translators and vendors, establish quality standards, and support global communication initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in translation management, localization, language operations, terminology management, and cross-cultural communication.
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage translation strategies aligned with organizational communication needs
- Lead end-to-end translation projects across documents, websites, marketing materials, legal content, technical materials, and corporate communications
- Manage internal translators, freelance linguists, translation agencies, and language vendors
- Establish translation workflows, quality standards, review processes, and delivery timelines
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness of translated content
- Develop and maintain terminology databases, glossaries, and style guides
- Manage translation budgets, resources, and project priorities
- Implement translation technology, Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
- Coordinate localization projects for international markets
- Review and evaluate translation quality and vendor performance
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, HR, product, communications, and business teams
- Prepare translation performance reports and operational improvements
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in translation, localization, language services, interpretation management, or related roles
- Proven experience managing translation projects and multilingual teams
- Strong understanding of translation workflows, quality assurance, and localization practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing external language service providers and vendors
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- 🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Localization, or related disciplines
- Certifications such as ATA Certification, CIOL, ITI, PMI, localization certifications, or related credentials
- Experience with CAT tools and translation platforms such as Trados, memoQ, Phrase, Smartling, Lokalise, or similar systems
- Experience managing Arabic-English translation projects or multilingual global communication programs
- Background in legal, technical, medical, financial, government, technology, or corporate translation
- Experience leading localization strategies for websites, software products, or digital platforms
- Knowledge of AI-assisted translation, machine translation post-editing (MTPE), and language technology
- Multilingual communication skills are highly desirable
