Overview
We are looking for a Receptionist / Insurance Coordinator to join our team.
The candidate will handle front desk responsibilities, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, claims processing, and customer service.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with insurance coordination are preferred.
Reception & Front Desk Duties
- Greet and assist patients/clients and visitors in a courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage filing systems and administrative documentation
- Process payments and issue receipts when required
Insurance Coordination Duties
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
- Obtain pre-authorizations and approvals
- Submit insurance claims accurately and timely
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims and patient coverage
- Maintain accurate patient/client insurance records
- Explain insurance benefits and payment responsibilities to patients/clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or insurance coordination preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance procedures is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Working Conditions
- Full-time position
- Healthcare environment
- May require occasional weekend or evening shifts depending on operations
