Role overview
Full-time Receptionist & Sales Associate at House of Flowers, a floral boutique serving clients across Abu Dhabi.
The role is the welcoming face and voice of the boutique and supports customer service and sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in clients and visitors and create a welcoming shop environment.
- Understand preferences and recommend bouquets and floral arrangements.
- Respond to phone, WhatsApp, and email inquiries about flower availability, pricing, custom arrangements, delivery, and store policies.
- Help customers choose flowers and arrangements for occasions, process sales and orders, and suggest complementary products.
- Record delivery and pickup details and coordinate with florists and delivery staff.
- Operate POS, handle cash and card payments, prepare simple daily reports, and maintain the reception and display area.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or boutique reception.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication; Arabic is a strong plus.
- Friendly, approachable customer-care manner and confidence with upselling, customer queries, and closing sales.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and POS systems; comfort with social media or messaging inquiries such as WhatsApp Business.
- Flower shop, luxury retail, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Currently reside in or be able to commute to the Rabdan area of Abu Dhabi.
Pay
- AED 2,000–2,500 per month.
