Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out processes, and directing individuals to the appropriate departments or clinicians.

Daily tasks include answering and routing phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining an organized reception area.

The Receptionist will handle basic clerical work such as filing, data entry, and updating patient records in coordination with administrative staff.

The role requires consistent delivery of professional, courteous service to ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Strong Receptionist Duties and Clerical Skills, including managing front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and basic administrative support.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to handle calls, provide clear information, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams.
  • Proven Customer Service skills, focusing on patient-centered care, professionalism, and resolving inquiries or concerns in a calm and respectful manner.
  • Proficiency with office software and hospital information systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or other language skills are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing role is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in administration or healthcare support is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies.
