Role Description
The Receiving Clerk role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah.
This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of incoming goods.
The Receiving Clerk records and updates inventory data in relevant systems, labels and organizes items in storage areas, and coordinates with other departments to distribute supplies in a timely manner.
The role also involves communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, maintaining clean and safe receiving areas, and complying with hotel policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and handling documentation.
- Strong Inventory Control skills, with the ability to track, store, and organize stock accurately.
- Basic Computer Literacy for using inventory systems, spreadsheets, and email.
- Knowledge of Forklift Operation or other material handling equipment, with relevant certifications where required.
- Customer Service skills to interact professionally with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in hotel receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
