Overview
We are hiring a Railway Incident Investigation Expert to support a major Metro Operations & Maintenance project in Riyadh.
The role focuses on leading incident investigations, ensuring compliance with Rail safety and railway protection regulations, and strengthening operational safety performance
Your Role
- Lead investigations for rail incidents, accidents, and near-misses across metro operations
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare clear investigation reports in line with saudi regulatory and international standards
- Ensure compliance with railway protection rules, track access, and safe systems of work
- Act as a key point of contact btwn client and regulatory authorities
- Monitor closure of safety actions and support regulatory audits and inspections
- Provide supervisory oversight on safety and operational compliance
- Deliver safety lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Railway, Civil, Mechanical or related)
- 20+ years' experience in railway/metro safety or operations
- Proven background in incident investigation within rail/metro projects
- Strong knowledge of railway protection regulations and safety rules
- Excellent reporting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Certified Incident/Accident Investigator
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification
- Experience in Middle East or GCC rail projects
