Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Radiology Equipment Specialist** to manage, maintain, and support radiology systems and devices.
This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of medical imaging technologies to ensure optimal equipment performance and compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on equipment usage.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for procurement, servicing, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari healthcare regulations and international safety standards.
- Document maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment performance records.
- Support research and development initiatives related to medical imaging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Radiology Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in radiology equipment management or medical imaging support.
- Strong knowledge of radiology systems, imaging technologies, and safety protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical equipment management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
