Role Description

The Radiographer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physicians’ orders, operating radiologic equipment safely, and positioning patients to obtain high-quality images.

The Radiographer will follow radiation safety protocols, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of imaging equipment and rooms.

Day-to-day tasks also include collaborating with medical staff to clarify imaging requests, explaining procedures to patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and complying with departmental and regulatory standards.

The role involves ongoing adherence to infection control measures and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Radiologic Technology and Radiology for performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures within clinical guidelines.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Radiation and Radiation Safety to ensure appropriate exposure levels and protection for patients, colleagues, and self.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine to understand clinical indications, patient histories, and multidisciplinary care plans.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution.
  • Valid professional registration or licensure as required by local regulatory authorities.
  • Experience working with contemporary imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, CT, or other modalities) and basic PACS/RIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural healthcare team environment.
