Role Overview
We’re currently looking for an experienced RF Test Engineer to join a dynamic product-focused environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF test setups and fixtures tailored for low-volume production.
- Create and execute comprehensive RF test strategies for both new developments and existing products.
- Work hands-on with RF lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes) to perform accurate measurements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy test systems, fixtures, and software down to component level.
- Build and enhance automated testing and calibration processes for RF systems.
- Investigate and resolve RF performance and signal integrity issues.
- Automate data collection, analysis, and reporting for test results.
- Contribute to design reviews with a strong focus on testability and product reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in RF testing within product development or manufacturing environments.
- Strong exposure to lab-based testing and measurement setups.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and hardware designs.
- Hands-on experience with PCB debugging at component level.
- Practical skills in SMT soldering and hardware rework.
- Comfortable creating custom tools and fixtures (3D printing / laser cutting is a plus).
- Basic experience with CAD tools (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks).
- Experience testing RF systems such as beamforming modules, GPS receivers, or similar.
- Programming experience (Python or MATLAB) for test automation.
- Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques (e.g., EVM, large-signal S-parameters, power amplifier characterization).
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural engineering environment with strong communication skills.
