  • Assembly of precision opto-mechanical and optical sub-assemblies.
  • Inspection and testing of incoming optics.
  • Testing of optical assemblies to ensure compliance to the required.
  • Supplements Precision Assembly work center during periods of insufficient capacity.
  • Assists in the generation of new product or sub-assembly documentation and work instructions.
  • Provides feedback to engineering regarding errors or omissions in existing documentation.
  • Assists in the completion of ERP work order paperwork for proper processing and costing of jobs.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in optics, engineering, physics or related technical disciplines, from a two-year college or a higher-education technical school.
  • Ability to handle precision opto-mechanical components.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and read optical and mechanical schematics.
  • Previous Cleanroom experience.
  • Proficient computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, word processing).
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
