Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise production lines to meet output and delivery targets.
• Coordinate with R&D, QA/QC, and warehouse teams on production flow and raw material availability.
• Enforce GMP, hygiene, and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Maintain batch manufacturing records, production logs, and machine usage logs.
• Track yield, wastage, downtime, and efficiency; prepare Excel MIS reports and trackers.
• Coordinate manpower, shifts, and production staff and operator training.
• Ensure applicable cosmetics manufacturing, factory licensing, and labor-law compliance.
• Coordinate in-process checks, batch release, and non-conformance or deviation closure with QA/QC.
• Improve production cost, cycle time, and material utilization.
• Maintain raw material and packaging inventory and consumption records with stores.
• Prepare planning sheets and monthly or quarterly reports for leadership.

Candidate requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on production or manufacturing experience; cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Technology, Chemical Engineering, Production or Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, and dashboards or trackers.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, batch documentation, and regulated or GMP shop-floor operations.
• Working knowledge of production planning, inventory or material reconciliation, and quality or compliance documentation.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple lines or batches, plus communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at the manufacturing facility and adapt to production shifts.
• Haircare, skincare, or cosmetic product manufacturing exposure is an advantage.

Pay

• Pay is ₹60,000 per month.
