Quarry C Operator

Purpose of Position:

Operate and utilize various pieces of Quarry Equipment

Primary Duties:

Perform all pre-shift and safety inspections of assigned equipment

Operate equipment efficiently for plant support.

Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner

Keep assigned piece of equipment clean and in good working condition

Obey all safety operating and work guidelines

Other duties as assigned.

Machines & Equipment Involved:

Haul Truck, Water Truck

Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoors

Various weather conditions

Experience:

Previous experience in operating machinery and equipment in an

Industrial environment is preferred.

Skills Requirements:

Communications skills including verbal, non-verbal, listening, interpreting and understanding instructions. 2. Consulting effectively with coworkers concerning work and schedules.

Ability to work as part of a large team.

Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Ability to communicate effectively and to use hand and eye coordination in the operations of the equipment.

Other Required Activities:

Sitting, climbing, stooping, lifting, checking, visual inspection, hearing, listening, operation in a safe manner according to work instructions
