Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Tabuk region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of major construction and infrastructure packages.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex contracts, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and ensure cost-certainty across the project lifecycle.
What You'Ll Be Doing
- Commercial Management: Oversee all commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Contract Administration: Manage FIDIC-based contracts (or similar), providing expert advice on contractual claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
- Cost Control & Reporting: Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budget forecasts, and monthly commercial reports. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track financial health.
- Procurement & Tendering: Manage the tendering process, including the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ), tender evaluation, and recommendation reports.
- Valuations & Payments: Review and certify monthly progress applications from contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with work performed on-site.
- Change Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize variation orders and change requests, minimizing financial risk to the client.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential commercial risks early and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project objectives.
