Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out & Joinery

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs for fit-out and joinery works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents; prepare estimates and commercial proposals.
• Obtain and compare quotations; prepare tender packages and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Manage variations, claims, and additional works; monitor costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
• Prepare interim payment applications and certify subcontractor payments.
• Review subcontractor invoices and verify quantities and rates.
• Assist with contract administration and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project, site, design, procurement, and finance teams.
• Maintain commercial records, measure work on site, and verify completed quantities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of Quantity Surveyor experience; fit-out and joinery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out, carpentry, joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring, and interior works.
• UAE/GCC construction and commercial practices experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; QS/estimation software knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and joinery drawings.
• UAE experience and availability to join soon are advantages.

Compensation and employment

• Full-time employment.
• Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
