Role overview
Manage cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects.
Support cost control, accurate measurements, and compliance with contractual and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, estimates, and cost breakdowns for construction projects.
- Evaluate project shop drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare and review interim payment applications, variations, and claims.
- Conduct cost control, cost tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams.
- Perform site measurements, quantity take-offs, and material analysis.
- Assist in preparing contracts, tenders, and bids.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of QS experience in contracting or construction companies.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Compensation
- QAR 4,000–6,000 per month.
