Workplace and employment

• Full-time role based at project sites in Dubai; work location is in person.

Pre-contract responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets from drawings and specifications.
• Review tender documents, technical drawings, and project requirements; conduct quantity take-offs and verify material quantities.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor quotations; assist with tender preparation, bid analysis, and cost comparisons.
• Prepare cost plans and support value engineering exercises.

Post-contract responsibilities

• Monitor project costs and maintain budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage variation orders, claims, and contractual documentation; prepare and verify interim payment applications and progress valuations.
• Review subcontractor quotations, invoices, and final accounts; coordinate with site, design, and procurement teams.
• Track material quantities, deliveries, and cost variations; prepare regular cost reports and financial updates.
• Help ensure works comply with approved budgets and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out and/or joinery projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• A UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Procurement coordination and supplier/subcontractor management experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills; able to coordinate with project stakeholders and handle multiple projects.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 6,000–10,000 per month.
