About This Role
Overview
Our client is a leading Contractor based in Dubai specialising in variety of different projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in reviewing tenders and preparing Bills of Quantities to support the Estimating Department with competitive and accurate project estimates.
- Identify subcontractor elements within tenders, issue enquiries, evaluate quotations, and prepare comparison reports to assist in subcontractor selection.
- Support in preparing monthly valuation reports to track progress against project milestones and ensure timely corrective actions where needed.
- Help draft detailed specifications and estimate additional costs in the event of variations, ensuring timely client approvals.
- Verify subcontractor quantities, re-measure completed works, and assist in the preparation and review of final accounts.
- Contribute to the preparation of final project accounts and support in securing payment certificates from clients to ensure timely revenue collection.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience with at least 1 years in interior fit-out / construction industry
- UAE Experience is preferred
- Higher Diploma in QS
