Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

The role includes monitoring project costs, evaluating variations, preparing interim and final payment applications, and supporting contract administration.

The Quantity Surveyor will track budgets, update cost reports, and provide financial forecasts to support decision-making.

The role also involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management, to monitor expenditures and maintain project budgets.
  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation and review (BOQ) to support tendering, valuation, and contract processes.
  • Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support forecasting, financial analysis, and project performance tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract and construction methodologies, preferably within infrastructure and road projects.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in relevant QS and MS Office software; experience with cost management tools is an advantage.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, site-based environment.
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE or GCC construction sector is highly desirable.
