Role overview

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience; 10 years of QS experience is required.
• UAE engineering consultancy experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Strong experience in both Quantity Surveying and Project Planning.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project planning and cost management tools.
• Excellent knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQs, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, progress monitoring, and resource planning.
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs, variations, payments, and contractual matters.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations.
• Prepare periodic progress, cost, and planning reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Support project management with cost control, planning, and performance monitoring.

Work arrangement

• Full-time role based in Abu Dhabi; work is in person.
