Cost Planning & EstimationPrepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for new production batches or specialized manufacturing projects.Analyze blueprints and technical specifications to determine quantity requirements.Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for production.2.
Procurement & Vendor ManagementSource raw materials and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ).Evaluate vendor quotes and manage the supply chain to prevent production delays.3.
Production MonitoringTrack actual material usage against estimated take-offs to identify "wastage" or "shrinkage."Provide cost-impact assessments for any changes in production design or material specifications.Prepare monthly valuation reports and cost-to-complete forecasts.4.
Financial & Legal ComplianceManage progress payments and final accounts for subcontractors or external service providers.Ensure all production contracts comply with local labor laws and industry regulations.Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
