• After years advising institutional clients on complex transactions, we are launching a new venture: an AI-native systematic trading operation, built from the ground up around LLMs and machine learning — applied to research, signal generation, and execution.

• It’s a founding team of three: the CEO, one AI engineer, and you.
• The role.
• You’ll be a founding Quant AI Engineer with end-to-end ownership of the quantitative stack — from research and backtesting to production deployment.
• Working directly with the CEO means your work goes from idea to live capital in days, not quarters.
• What you’ll do:
• Design, backtest, and optimize native AI/systematic trading and advisiory strategies across algorithmic, hedge-fund, and long-only mandates
• Build LLM-driven research pipelines — extracting signals and market insights from unstructured data (filings, news, transcripts, alternative data)
• Take models from notebook to production: robust, monitored, live
• Shape the architecture, the tooling, and the culture of a trading operation from day one
• What you bring:
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s or PhD a plus)
• 3-6 years building and backtesting trading strategies — at a fund, prop shop, or as a serious independent with a verifiable track record
• Excellent Python; comfort owning a codebase end to end
• Hands-on experience applying LLMs to research, analytics, or trading workflows (RAG, fine-tuning, agentic pipelines)
