Quality Testing Associate Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of testing across SAP and integrated applications.
• Perform manual, functional, regression, retesting, and UAT support based on requirements, scenarios, and test cases.
• Prepare, review, maintain, and execute test cases; document test evidence and results.
• Log, track, retest, and close Jira defects with descriptions, screenshots, severity, and priority.
• Manage test cases and execution in qTest, maintain defect status, and support requirements-to-test-case traceability.
• Prepare Excel test status reports and metrics; coordinate with SAP and business teams, follow QA standards, and escalate risks or blockers.
• Follow safety policies, identify hazards, and contribute to continuous improvement in the EHS culture.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, SAP testing, or a related area; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, manual testing concepts, and the defect lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Excel and clear documentation of test results and defects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; willingness to learn SAP applications, testing tools, and enterprise testing processes.

Additional qualifications

• Basic exposure to qTest for test management and Jira for defect logging, tracking, and workflow management is an additional qualification.
• Proficiency in Excel for tracking, reporting, data analysis, and basic formulas is an additional qualification.
• Basic understanding of SAP testing/quality and test management, including an overview of MM, SD, OTC, and MTD modules, is an additional qualification.

• The stated work location is Hebbal, Bangalore, Karnataka, in hybrid mode.
