Quality Manager

Role overview

Quality and compliance leadership

• Lead site quality policy, standards, compliance oversight, and resource management.
• Represent the site for aviation and non-aviation regulatory approvals and the Quality and Safety Management System.
• Ensure product and process compliance across aerospace OEM and aftermarket operations and achieve quality objectives within approved plans.
• Champion customer requirements across the product lifecycle and maintain robust quality processes and controls.

Team, audits, and improvement

• Lead and develop the Quality team, manage daily operations, and support competency and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct audits, verify compliance with applicable regulatory and customer standards, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain QMS documentation, processes, and training.
• Analyze quality data and production processes; mitigate risk and implement sustainable improvements.
• Drive Lean and CORE improvement, reduce Cost of Poor Quality, and prevent product or process escapes.

Experience and education

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of managerial experience in a medium-sized operational facility; aviation maintenance, repair, or service experience is preferred.
• Requires experience managing technical operations and knowledge of facility production processes.
• Requires extensive QMS and Safety Management Systems knowledge, measurement and analysis, and continuous improvement capability.

Quality and systems qualifications

• Requires Lean and continuous improvement expertise, including root cause analysis, value stream mapping, 5S, and Kaizen, in regulated manufacturing or aerospace environments.
• Requires regulated aerospace audit experience, formal auditor training, and knowledge of OEM and aftermarket regulatory requirements.
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, JDE, SAP, and OneStream/HFM, with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Requires leadership, team supervision, stakeholder engagement, planning, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Work arrangement

• The position is explicitly onsite at the Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone, UAE.
