The Quality Lead Specialist develops and maintains systems, rules, and processes that fulfill internal and external requirements.
The role ensures projects and products can meet specified standards and supports specialized quality expertise in a broad professional area.
Quality responsibilities
- Own the total quality management system for the business and drive quality metrics.
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance while improving process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Represent GE HealthCare to external agencies and champion the evolution of the quality culture.
- Execute quality objectives, metrics, reporting, and operating mechanisms.
Collaboration and issue resolution
- Apply general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience.
- Understand how the work of the team contributes to the broader business area.
- Resolve issues using established procedures and consult senior team members when issues exceed defined parameters.
- Collaborate with others to solve issues and exchange technical information with customers when required.
Administrative work
- Perform simple data entry requiring face-value checking and correction.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
Desired characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
