What You Will Do

  • Performing routine and special request testing and sampling
  • Analyzing in-process materials and finished product to check conformance to specificationsPerforming troubleshooting and routine maintenance of lab testing equipmentAccurately complete all documentation and data entry associated with quality checks and QC reports and communicating resultsEnsuring compliance with all policies and proceduresPerforming and/or assisting with internal audits to support compliance with SQF and Quality Systems.
  • Assisting operations with quality-related requests.
  • Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) or more years of experience in manufacturing environmentThe ability to use Microsoft software.
  • o Able to initiate new spreadsheets with Excel. Add/edit data, use of pivot tables, manipulation for the purpose of analysis, creating formulas.
  • o The ability to use MS word to create new documents such as new procedures, guidelines etc.
  • o Use of Teams to access and information and files.
  • Experience with emailWilling and able to work eight (8) hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime when neededWilling and able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environmentWilling and able to learn and perform various testing proceduresExperience with data collection and entry.Experience performing mathematical calculations, e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimalsWilling and able to perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and labelingWilling and able to work unsupervised with minimal management of duties and expectations.
  • Comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization to continuously improve Darlington’s quality systems.
  • What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience working in a Quality department
  • One (1) year or more of experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience working in the Consumer Products industry
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • SQF experience.
  • Other quality management standards (such as ISO 9000)
