Quality Lab Analyst

Role overview

Laboratory and quality duties

• Oversee plant stability sampling, testing, and summary reporting under applicable NHP, OTC, and dietary supplement regulations.
• Coordinate instrument calibration, investigate out-of-specification calibration results and equipment breakdowns, and maintain calibration records.
• Coordinate raw material and finished product sampling and testing with external laboratories.
• Create or revise specifications, SOPs, and test methods to meet current regulatory policies.
• Manage laboratory supplies and purchase orders; summarize product performance data for quality reviews.
• Support complaint investigations and review or approval of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Perform organoleptic, physical, and chemical analyses and product testing when required.
• Address deviations, support manufacturing troubleshooting, and assist quality and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related discipline.
• Previous analytical testing experience.
• Understanding of computers, laboratory drug handling systems, statistical methods, quality control, and relevant Good Laboratory Practices.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, solve problems, and communicate effectively.

Work environment

• The position works with laboratory, operations, maintenance, scheduling, R&D, and manufacturing teams and includes laboratory testing and equipment duties.
