What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of automation testing experience
  • Completed a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
  • You have a Government of Canada Secret (Level I) clearance OR are eligible to obtain one
  • Strong and personable collaboration characteristics.
  • Outcome and results driven.
  • Communicate effectively, write concisely and clearly.
  • Process driven and organized.
  • Work autonomously with attention to detail.
  • Focused and analytical problem solver.
  • Avid learner of new technology and understand technical concepts.

  • Ability to adapt to different project needs and adopt appropriate techniques and tools for testing automation.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to performance, integration, and security testing.
  • Experience with test automation, including Selenium, JMeter, and Junit.
  • Security testing standards and tools, such as OWASP ZAP.
  • Comfortable with cloud-based infrastructure solutions, including Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of server-side web development in Java EE and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix based system.

  • The hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
