Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined components. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and quality plans. Conduct root cause analysis for machining-related quality issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve quality performance. Review first-off approvals and process validations. Analyze rejection and rework trends and implement preventive measures. Ensure calibration compliance for measuring instruments used in the machine shop. Support customer and internal quality audits.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of machining processes (Turning, Milling, Grinding, CNC/VMC). Knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation. Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc. Knowledge of SPC, CAPA, 8D, 7QC tools, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements As and When required What we Offer We are all owners of the company!
