About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at CECO Environmental Corporation.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial systems, or environmental control systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, industrial processes, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from initial design and planning to installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor progress to mitigate risks.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and proposals to support project execution and compliance.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installation activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize system design and performance.
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant environmental, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, changes, and challenges.
