Role overview

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute inspection jobs and inspect materials, equipment, and construction or installation activities on site.
• Issue quality records and report non-conformances to the QC Supervisor when necessary.
• Verify Quality Control Plan compliance, inspection procedures, test equipment, and related documentation; ensure implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and workers' qualifications.
• Inspect transformers, switchboards, batteries, sockets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, and cables.
• Perform visual inspections and dimensional tests, and check ratings and connection materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant oil and gas construction experience and mandatory offshore experience.
• Mandatory electrical certification such as ATEX or CompEx.
• Familiarity with applicable engineering standards and codes for QC surveillance in onshore and offshore fabrication, construction, or EPC projects.
• Previous ADNOC approval is preferred but not mandatory.
