Job responsibilities

• Organize and execute inspection jobs professionally.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and construction or installation activities on site.
• Issue quality records and send non-conformance reports to the QC Supervisor when necessary.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan; obtain documentation; check procedures and equipment for tests, controls, and inspections.
• Manage documentation certifying tests, controls, and inspections.
• Ensure correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Inspect power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, sockets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, cables, and related items.
• Perform visual inspections and dimensional tests; check ratings and connection materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas construction sector.
• CSWIP / AWS and BGAS / NACE qualifications are required.
• Familiarity with applicable engineering standards and codes used during offshore QC surveillance.
• Offshore or island experience is mandatory.
• EPC construction experience is preferred, particularly in hook-up, commissioning, tie-in, jacket, pipelaying, or pipeline work.
