Quality Control Inspector I

· Typical machine shop environment including exposure to sharp edges, pinch points, powered rotating equipment, shavings, chips, dust, fumes, chemicals and noise. Safety glasses with side shields and steel toed boots/shoes required to be worn at all times. Face shield when required.

Qualifications

• · High school diploma or equivalent required.
• · Basic knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• · Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• · Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• · Willingness to learn quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• · Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• · 1-2 years minimum quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
