Quality Control Engineer

Location and work arrangement

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor the company's Quality Management System.
• Prepare, review, update, and control quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Conduct incoming material, in-process, and final inspections; ensure products and processes comply with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records; investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain document control, traceability, and quality records; keep documentation complete, accurate, and available for audits.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits, and external certification audits.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor quality performance and recommend ways to reduce defects and recurring non-conformities.

Mandatory requirements

• Two to three years of practical QA/QC experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a complete QMS, including implementation, maintenance, and documentation.
• Practical experience preparing and maintaining quality procedures, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, corrective action records, and other QMS documents.

Required skills and preferred qualifications

• Required: understanding of ISO 9001 and QMS requirements; knowledge of quality inspection methods and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Required: document control and audit preparation experience; understanding of root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Required: attention to detail, accurate documentation, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Preferred: manufacturing or industrial company experience; participation in internal or external ISO audits; knowledge of inspection tools, measuring instruments, and quality reporting.
