Quality Auditor

Responsible for assurance of quality standards through process auditing and in-process inspection of product, as well as incoming inspections of raw materials received at building 2 to ensure that specifications are met.

Reports potential quality related problems to quality management.

Recommends corrective actions, as required.

· Conducts in-process inspections and audits of processes according to a set schedule to ensure product specifications are met in all aspects of the manufacturing process.

· Prepares quality reports for trend analysis and identification of problems areas.

· Assists quality management in identifying, communicating and facilitating the need for changes to enhance process and product quality.

· Coordinates collection of data for use in the repair process.

· Conducts daily audits of the repair process to ensure the work instructions are being followed and that the individuals performing the work have been trained.

· Interfaces with manufacturing and quality management when defects or deviations to specifications are found.

· Communicates potential quality problems to quality management.

· Conducts incoming inspection on components from vendors, as required.

· Records quality data and transactions.

· Communicates results in reports and assists in Corrective Action Reports as necessary.

· Provides support to the repair process during the implementation of new work instructions and changes to existing work instructions.

· Assists with the implementation of quality program(s) into manufacturing based on ISO requirements.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

· Responsible for utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.

· Actively works to improve processes in the company.

· Performs cosmetic checks on units.

· Performs Quality Audits as assigned by the direction and training of the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.

· Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing or service environment required.

· One (1) year quality auditing experience in a reverse logistics or return environment preferred.

· Technical experience preferred.

• Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.

· Basic math skills.
