Quality Assurance Supervisor

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is recommended.
• Previous experience working in a Quality Assurance department.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience as a leader in a Quality Assurance department.
• Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio.
• Qualified as an ISO QA systems auditor.
• Familiar with the ISO9001:2015 and the ISO9001:2026 requirements
• Six Sigma, SPC and similar Quality measurement tools.
• Work Authorization: This is a permanent position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire. Immigration sponsorship is not typically available and will be considered only where supported by business needs and applicable legal requirements.
• Working Conditions
• Temperature controlled working environment.
• Job requires working in an office setting.
• Working in front of a computer for the majority of the shift.
• Must wear personnel protective equipment at all times when required (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses as required).
• Physical Requirements
• Maintaining body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs.
• Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner.
• Standing, walking, and speaking for long periods of time.
• Typing, punching or applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.
• Perceiving size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with the fingertips.
