We are looking for a detail-oriented
Qa And Qc Engineer
to oversee and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures across our construction and landscaping projects.
This includes inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination with consultants, clients, and the construction team.
The role ensures that materials, works, and procedures meet approved specifications, ISO standards, and project requirements.
Requirement
- Prepare, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures in line with project specifications and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Review and understand construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality compliance.
- Raise and manage Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and coordinate inspections with consultants and site teams.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning to verify compliance with approved standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor the delivery, handling, and storage of materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and verification.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, material submittals, and documentation for project execution.
- Control and monitor site activities to ensure adherence to client specifications and approved quality plans.
- Review, prepare, and approve Method Statements, Material Submittals, and Pre-Qualification documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site engineers for timely quality approvals.
- Close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) by following up with the site team and consultants.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on quality matters.
- Ensure continuous improvement in quality performance and adherence to project and company standards.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to project management.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, and environmental policies at all times.
- Perform any other quality-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer on construction, infrastructure, or landscaping projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, QA/QC procedures, and construction quality requirements.
- Experience in site inspections, testing, and commissioning of materials and works.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation tools; knowledge of AutoCAD or project management software is an advantage.
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site, supervise teams, and liaise effectively with consultants and clients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and HSE standards.
