Role overview
An ISO/IEC 17025-accredited material testing laboratory in Qatar seeks a fresh graduate Civil Engineer for material testing work.
Responsibilities
- Assist material engineers and laboratory technicians with testing concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt and steel.
- Follow ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards, ASTM, BS and QCS guidelines in testing procedures.
- Record test data accurately and maintain sample logs.
- Assist with certified technical test reports.
- Maintain laboratory equipment calibration records and support daily QA/QC operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fresh graduate or 0–1 years of relevant internship or local experience in a construction materials testing laboratory.
- Familiarity with ASTM, BS EN or ISO standards is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- The posting requests local availability in Qatar and valid Qatari ID or transferable residency status.
