Overview

Role Description This is a part-time Quality Assurance (QA) Manager role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.

The QA Manager will design, implement, and maintain quality management processes, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product and service quality.

Responsibilities

include planning and executing test strategies, leading root-cause analysis of defects, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.

The role involves monitoring key quality metrics, preparing regular quality reports for leadership, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The QA Manager will also coach and guide team members on best practices, support internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a similar role, preferably in a regulated or process-driven environment.
  • Strong skills in designing and implementing QA processes, including test planning, test case development, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies) and experience applying them in practice.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret quality metrics, and present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, hybrid work setting.
  • Experience with QA or project management tools (e.g., issue tracking, documentation, and reporting platforms) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications in quality (e.g., CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are beneficial but not required.
