Role Description
The Quality Assurance Manager role at ForNano is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating QA procedures, performing audits and inspections, reviewing documentation and test results, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
The role also involves training team members on quality standards, monitoring key performance indicators, preparing quality reports for leadership, and collaborating with operations, R&D, and supply chain to maintain consistent product and process quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality management, including developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Proficiency with quality standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO systems or equivalent), regulatory compliance, and internal audit practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend practical improvements.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and provide clear guidance.
- Proven capability in documentation control, report writing, and maintaining accurate, organized records of quality activities.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid setting, managing priorities and deadlines across on-site and remote work.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, nanotechnology, materials science, or a related scientific/technical field is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, quality management, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications in quality or auditing are an advantage.
